COVID-19 Policy/Procedures Update

COVID-19 Policy/Procedures Update

As the CDC continues to adjust their guidelines, Dunkirk Vision follows their recommendations for health care facilities.  Safety protocols are critical for patient care we continue to move forward to reduce the risk of COVID19 exposure and transmission to our patients and staff.

At all times, doctors and staff will be wearing appropriate face masks which include KN95 masks.  All staff members have been extensively trained on COVID19 and disinfection methods.  We are continuing with enhanced work place disinfection control measures including plexiglass barriers, disinfection systems, UV sanitization of frames and air purification.  We will continue to schedule appointments further apart so that we can maintain appropriate social distancing as well.

Following the CDC guidelines set for health care settings, patients will still be required to wear a face mask at all times.  All patients and visitors will be screened for COVID19 symptoms.  In following social distance guidelines, patients should present alone except in instances where a guardian, parent or caregiver is required.

The health and safety of our patients, staff and community remain as our top priority.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
